Mobile School
Program is intended to promote public awareness throughout Dhaka
city regarding various aspects of waste. It is conducted in
different schools, approximately once every month for approximately
2 hours, to change people’s attitude and behavior on waste and to
promote the importance of environmental education.
Its curriculum consists of solid waste management of Dhaka City
Corporation, information on waste, initiatives to solve
environmental problems in Japan, and some introduction of Japan,
using presentations, exercise games, DVDs, quiz games, and group
works, to enable students to think using their five senses and to
enjoy these activities.
Number of program: Once in a month
Time: About 2 hours
Number of students: 50
Target grade: 4-7th class
Evaluation: Questionnaire to students, Advices from teachers after
the program.
