Wither of husband or the wife (if she has been delegated the power of divorce) can sent a letter to the Chairman, Reconciliation Council, D.C.C stating pronouncement of "Talak" (Divorce). After receiving date of the letter of "Talak" (Divorce) a reconciliation came be started with a specific number. Both the parties are notice by post at list three times to attend the council.Observing the all legal provisions the "Talak" (divorce) be settled after 90 days or before the expiration of the said duration if the parties concerned consent to make compromise to hold the family life, the case be disposed of with an order of compromise and thus the Divorce be withdrawn.
